Creating Your Receiptflow Account and Setting Up Your Profile

Section A: Starting Your Account Creation & Verification


To begin, you will need a valid email address and access to that inbox for verification.


Step 1: Navigate to the Sign-up Page


Go directly to the Receiptflow dashboard at: https://dash.receiptflow.co/


Step 2: Enter Your Email Address


  1. Enter the email address you wish to use for your new Receiptflow account in the field labeled Email.
  2. Click the blue Continue button.


Tip: You can also choose "Continue with Google" to use your existing Google credentials for a faster sign-up.

Step 3: Verify Your Email Address (OTP)


  1. Open the inbox for the email address you just entered. You will receive an email from Receiptflow containing a One-Time Password (OTP).
  2. Navigate back to the Receiptflow sign-up screen and enter the received OTP into the verification field.
  3. Click Verify (or the corresponding button) to continue to the next step.

Section B: Personal and Company Setup Wizard


After verification, you will go through a six-step wizard to tailor your Receiptflow experience.


Step 4: Enter Personal Details


You will first be asked to fill in your name:

  • Enter your First Name and Last Name.
  • Click Continue to proceed.

Step 5: Select Your Account Type


  • Choose whether the account is For my practice (e.g., if you are an accountant/bookkeeper) or For my business.
  • Important: This information cannot be changed later. Choose carefully.

Step 6: Describe Your Business


  • Select the range that corresponds to the number of employees you have (e.g., "Just me," "2-10," etc.).

Step 7: Provide Company Location


  • Select your Country from the dropdown menu.
  • Enter your Company Name (you can search by address or postcode).
  • Click Continue.

Step 8: Define Your Position/ Role


  • Select your primary role within the business. This helps Receiptflow set your initial permissions and dashboard view.
  • Options include Owner, Manager, Accountant, or Administrator.

Step 9: Choose Your Software


  • Select the primary accounting software you currently use (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or Other). You can choose one or more.
  • This choice helps set up your integration preferences later.

Section C: Finalising Your Account


  • After completing the six setup screens, your account creation is complete. You will be taken directly to the Receiptflow Dashboard.
  • You are now ready to install the mobile app and start scanning!
