Editing and Removing Practice Member Details and Permissions

This guide is for Practice Owners and Administrators. It details how to update an existing team member's details, manage their access, or permanently remove them from your Receiptflow Practice.

Section A: Accessing Member Management

Step 1: Navigate to the Members Page

  1. From your Receiptflow dashboard, click the Members link in the left-hand navigation menu.
  2. Locate the member you need to manage in the displayed list.

Section B: Editing a Member's Details

Use this process to change a member's name, email, or internal role.

Step 2: Open the Edit Panel

  1. Find the member in the list and click the three-dot menu (...) on the far right of their row.
  2. Select Edit Details from the dropdown menu. An edit side panel will open.

Step 3: Update Permissions and Roles

  1. You can change the member's First Name and Last Name.
  2. Update the member's Role if their responsibilities have changed (e.g., promoting a Member to an Admin).
    • Note: Changing a role may instantly grant or revoke access to certain features (like billing).
  1. Adjust which Clients this member is assigned to manage, if necessary.
  2. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the panel to finalize the updates.

Section C: Removing a Member from the Practice

Use this process to permanently revoke a member's access, such as when an employee leaves the company.

Step 4: Initiate Removal

  1. Find the member in the list and click the three-dot menu (...) on the far right of their row.
  2. Select Remove Member from the dropdown menu.

Step 5: Confirm Deactivation/ Deletion

  1. A confirmation box will appear, detailing the effect of the action.
  2. Click Confirm (or the corresponding button) to finalise the removal.

⚠️ Warning: Removing a member instantly revokes their access to your Receiptflow Practice and all associated client accounts. This action is permanent and should only be performed when the member no longer requires access.
